South Pacific FANS Performance Data

CPDLC and ADS-C Performance - Stats collection now completed (as at December 2009)

The graphs below display the downlink message performance (aircraft sending time compared with ATSP receipt time) of participating ATS Providers (ATSP) from the South Pacific region compared against a target performance line.

The graphs indicate the levels of performance achieved by the FANS-1/A data link system in the South Pacific. The figures include transmission over VHF and Satellite media and include both CPDLC and ADS-C messages.

During 2009 the ISPACG Central Reporting Agency (CRA) began work on a specific website that reports on performance data based on a new reporting regime in accordance with the Oceanic Safety and Performance Requirements (Oceanic SPR). The SPR standard takes into account Required Communication Performance (RCP), which includes the interaction times of the various human components within the overall system. The performance data on the site is also broken down to the individual airline and aircraft type level.

The data displayed below was completed as at the end of 2009 and performance reporting statistics are now available on the ISPACG CRA website. The message use statistics data will continued to be posted on the ATC Data Link News site, but the performance data below will be retained purely for historical purposes.

The ISPACG CRA site is located at: http://ispacg-cra.com/performance.asp
